Features
At Interpack, we develop paperboard packaging for fruits and vegetables, designed to offer a functional, safe, and sustainable option compared to single-use plastic trays.
We develop packaging according to the type of fruit or vegetable, its sales format, and logistical conditions. We incorporate moisture-resistant and grease-resistant varnishes that extend the shelf life of the packaging, preserve the freshness of the contents, and distinguish the product on the shelf or at the point of sale.
Our paperboard boxes for fruits and vegetables offer a user experience similar to traditional plastic packaging, but with a significantly smaller environmental footprint: they are recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable in less than 18 months. We use paperboard from responsibly managed sources, FSC® and PEFC certified.
Furthermore, our plant is FSSC 22000 certified, which guarantees that it is approved for the manufacture of packaging suitable for direct contact with food.
