Protection, ventilation, and a presentation that reflects freshness. Historically, fruits and vegetables have been marketed in single-use plastic trays—practical, but with a high environmental impact. In response to this issue, at Interpack we developed a real, sustainable, and efficient alternative.

We created a recyclable and biodegradable paperboard tray in under 18 months, developed especially for fast-moving fresh products. Its structural design supports point-of-sale dynamics: it is sturdy, lightweight, easy to handle, and provides excellent visibility of the contents inside. In addition, it is 100% customizable with offset printing, making it a powerful brand communication tool at the point of sale.

A simple, but meaningful solution. It replaces single-use plastic without sacrificing functionality or shelf presence, and adds value for brands looking to convey their environmental commitment from the very first contact with the consumer.
